Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Reverse Software Engineer to support a long-term program on-site in Quantico, VA. The Reverse Software Engineer will support a program that is mission critical to the safety and security of the United States by reverse engineering applications and mobile devices confiscated by the federal government. This position has flexible core hours and will be able to upgrade a clearance to a TS/SCI.

Responsibilities for the Reverse Software Engineer include:

  • Provide reverse engineering, static and dynamic binary analysis, and vulnerability analysis of software on various platforms including mobile devices, tablets, laptops, and more.
  • Document all findings and engage with critical stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Utilize Wireshark to perform vulnerability analysis.
  • Support microcontroller security architecture, bootloader design implementation, and utilize various programming languages.

Required Qualifications for the Reverse Software Engineer include:

  • 10+ years of experience with reverse software engineering
  • Experience with Android, IOS, and related technologies
  • Experience with software programming (Python, C, C++, or related language)
  • Experience with Ghidra or IDA Pro
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM field

Compensation for the Reverse Software Engineer:

  • Salary Range: $180,000-220,000 **depending on experience**
