Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a RF Engineer in Cocoa Beach, FL
Responsibilities of the RF Engineer include:
• Ensured communication systems are ready for 24/7 operation
• Performs operation and maintenance for a ship based marine mobile platform with complex radar and communication systems
• Develops and maintains succession plan while mentoring potential sucessors and junior engineers
• Leads day to day radar support and other projects to support the program
• Assists with contract proposals, configurations change activities, and requirements
• Provides timely status reports to the program and customer
• Assists with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding qualified engineers.
Qualifications for the RF Engineer include:
• 5 years of RF Engineering experience
• Experience with Large Phased Array Systems
• Current U.S. Passport with a minimum of 1 year prior to expiration and 3 blank pages
• When required, must be willing and able to be deployed onboard a naval vessel, in the role of Radar Engineer; not to exceed 60 days at sea
• Able to pass a mariner’s physical exam in accordance with our PWS if required by the Program Office
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher with 12 years of experience. Experience can be substituted for education
• Active Secret Clearance
