Brink Constructors, a Transmission, Distribution, Substation, and Renewable Energy company, is offering an exciting opportunity for a traveling Safety Training Manager who is ready to expand their career with a growing company in the industry. To continue our tremendous success and unparalleled growth, we are searching for a qualified and ambitious individual to ensure we are providing safe and reliable services to our clients. The position will require the scheduling, tracking, and delivery of safety training for all Brink employees.

Pay:

This is an exempt/salary position.  The pay range is $145,000-$155,000. Pay may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.

This position is expected to travel throughout all of our locations to provide training as needed at job sites and new hire orientations. 70% Travel throughout - New Mexico, Wyoming, Colorado, South Dakota, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Minnesota required.

What You'll Do

Employee Safety Training

  • On site, train employees on required safety training programs and other safety training as necessary.
  • Provides expertise on Safety training requirements based on federal regulations, job scope, and client requirements.
  • Training includes but is not limited to OSHA required training, client specific training, and equipment training.

Examples of OSHA training may include but is not limited to

  • OSHA 10 ET&D
  • Fall Protection
  • Confined Space
  • Hot Work
  • PPE
  • Hearing and Respiratory Training
  • First Aid/CPR/AED Training
  • Trenching and Excavation

Examples of Equipment training may include but is not limited to

  • Rough Terrain Forklift
  • Scissor Lift
  • Man Basket
  • Skid Steer

Position will review current training matrix and ensure that all training is being identified as to what is needed based off job description, and when retraining is required

Position will be required to track all training that is held, maintain records, and be able to reproduce records upon request

May conduct train-the-trainer classes on specific safety training programs per company's needs.

Position will be required to work directly with management and job leads to schedule training, this may include developing and adjusting schedules based on business needs, setting up training locations (training rooms), and developing and adhering to proposed budget.

Additional Safety Support

Position may be called upon to help support business needs in a Safety Professional role as needed.

What You'll Bring

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree or a combination of experience and additional training which supports the position.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in conducting safety training for equipment operators required. Experience conducting train-the-trainer programs is preferred.
  • Safety experience or formal safety education preferred.
  • Demonstrated mastery of a company safety training program and content delivery is required.
  • Knowledge of Federal, State and Provincial occupational safety regulations including OSHA, FAA, MSHA, EPA and health standards such as ANSI, NFPA, NEC and other non-regulatory safety codes and standards required.

License:

  • Valid Driver's License - must have an acceptable MVR to operate a company vehicle

Preferred Skills:

  • Team facilitation skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional settings. Must be a strong team player with the ability to organize, prioritize, handle time constraints and manage shifting priorities.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office suite required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Travel approximately 80% of the time
  • May need to lift over 50 lbs at times

Experience in the Electrical Transmission, Distribution, Substation, and renewable Energy highly preferred

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $145,000.00/Yr. - USD $155,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
