Job Description:

Join a dynamic team – CACI’s DarkBlue Intelligence Group - where collaborative efforts drive the development and evolution of DarkBlue, our cutting-edge Dark Web intelligence platform. Our platform, DarkBlue, empowers customers with deep insights into the open, deep, and dark web, enabling actionable intelligence. We are seeking a Sales Engineer who will play a pivotal role in demonstrating the value of our DarkBlue platform to potential and existing customers. This customer-facing position requires a blend of technical expertise, outstanding communication skills, and an interest in solving complex challenges. While this position supports the sales cycle within the Growth team, the Sales Engineer will have the opportunity to contribute across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Growth team and lead customer-facing technical discussions and activities in support of the full sales cycle
  • Lead virtual and in-person technical engagements with customers, understanding their unique needs and challenges
  • Build customer-specific solutions and product demonstrations that showcase the value of the DarkBlue platform in addressing customer pain points and mission needs
  • Leverage deep insights of DarkBlue to become a trusted advisor, providing technical guidance and thought leadership
  • Collaborate with customers to design solutions that integrate with their existing workflows and products/systems
  • Communicate and translate technical requirements to the Product and Engineering teams to ensure that the addition and improvement of new features is responsive to customer needs  
  • Assist the Growth team in managing pre-sales engagements from creating demo accounts to helping to maintain the team’s sales platform, Hubspot, to ensure proper tracking of efforts
  • Participate in conferences, marketing initiatives, and drafting of analytical products as needed
  • Support sales enablement of partners and channel alliances
  • Some travel on-site for customer meetings and conferences will be required

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 2 years in a customer-facing technical role (pre-sales, consulting, and/or technical architecture)
  • Strong understanding of SaaS platforms and analytics tools; experience with dark web analytics is a plus
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Experience in conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with working across teams, both within groups and independently
  • Ability to travel to client sites in the DC Metro area and possibly across the country; about 25-30% of travel expected
  • Geographic proximity to the DC metropolitan area

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience supporting US Public Sector customers

The proposed salary range for this position is:
