About this Role

The scheduler is responsible for assisting in the planning and coordination of project schedules to ensure timely and efficient completion of operations. This role involves supporting the development of schedules, monitoring project progress, and maintaining communication with various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Develops baseline project schedule & logic with project management team.
• Maintains project schedules throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Identifies & advises project managers of schedule risks & mitigation options.
• Collaborate with project personnel to gather information for input into schedule during baseline & the projects duration.
• Monitors preconstruction & construction progress for review with project controls manager.
• Reviews & integrates 3rd party schedules into project level schedules.
• Set up performance indicators & monitor throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Develops time phased forecasts from schedule data.
• Prepare month end schedule reports & narratives.
• Supports schedule analysis & forecasts with project management team.
• Assists in development of WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) in accordance with client requirements.
• Develops familiarity of schedule & its effects on financial performance.
• Integrate scope changes into the project schedule as necessary.

What You'll Bring

• HS Diploma or GED
  • Associates in business or similar field is preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Project. Experience with Primavera P6 a plus.
• 1-3 years in relevant experience in scheduling, planning or related roles.
• Strong written & verbal communications skills.
• Ability to comprehend industrial construction plans & drawings.
• Competency with earned value methods.
