Job Description:

We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our growing team in Sterling, VA supporting a new, fast-paced U.S. Space Force (USSF) program. You will get to be part of a team of fun and energized engineers and culture of sharing information amongst teammates working within a product family to field a Mission Management and Command and Control application for a new USSF capability.

Please note that this position is not remote and requires employees to be 100% onsite. Candidates must be prepared to work at the designated location in person every day.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • A U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret SCI clearance.

  • College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • 3+ years related technical experience.

  • Certified Scrum Master/Scrum Practitioner or SAFe Agilist with significant experience with Scrum teams and use of continuous integration tools and techniques in test-driven development.

  • A minimum of three (3) solid years of experience supporting software development and integration.

  • Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, configuration management, quality assurance, and release management.

  • Previous experience with JIRA.

Desired:

  • Experience with collecting, tracking, and communicating program and product metrics.

  • Familiarity with Platform One cloud environment.

  • Familiarity with test automation techniques and tools, particularly Cypress.

  • Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.

  • Proactive, self-starter who utilizes collaboration and relationship building to reach team goals.
