Verizon's Digital Marketing team is hiring a Search Engine Marketing Senior Strategist to assist in paid search strategic planning, investment and partner management. You will partner closely with other leaders within the digital marketing center of excellence to drive Marketing effectiveness and efficiencies. You should bring a fresh perspective on how the SEM operation can evolve as an in-house team, and will support the process on any changes/shifts that you feel are necessary to get the job done well. You will assist relationships with external search partners, including emerging search partners and optimization technologies. We expect you to come with a strong understanding of the evolution of search and the benefits of thinking about SEM and SEO holistically.
Responsibilities include:
Managing SEM functions for multiple units within Verizon Consumer Group.
Campaign development, bid strategy, optimization and channel management.
Making recommendations with respect to any changes to the existing tech stacks.
Assisting relationships with all external search partners.
Overseeing the execution associated with SEM campaigns.
You'll need to have:
Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
Marketer/agency/consultative services experience in SEM.
Experience with and knowledge of primary buying platforms and formats (Google Ads, Search Ads 360, Skai, Yahoo! / Bing, Performance Max, PLAs, Shopping engines).
Experience in search analysis and reporting.
Analytical skills in developing marketing reports that enhance SEM performance efficiencies.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Ability to manage projects across multiple stakeholders.
Exceptional communication skills.
Data visualization experience.
Fluency in data-driven targeting and reach strategy.
Knowledge of advertising channels across TV, audio, OOH, Display (desktop, mobile), Digital Video, Social Media, various buying methodologies (CPM, CPC, CPA), etc.
Exposure to online report builders such as Adobe/Omniture and ability to build and pull reports.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
