What you'll be doing...

The Sr. Analyst is an integral part of the media effectiveness team tasked with developing insights that enable Verizon to improve how marketing investments impact business results. You will work closely with media, business units, financial planning & analysis, and external partners to ensure strategic and tactical marketing decisions are informed by data-driven insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Help manage day-to-day marketing effectiveness activities such as data mining, analytics maintenance, interpretation of findings, delivery of insights, and coordination with stakeholders.

  • Partner with media effectiveness leads and provide ongoing evaluation of marketing efforts through analysis of integrated findings across Marketing Mix models and BI reports to derive insights and recommendations around investment reallocations.

  • Modify existing analytical processes and solutions to better fit the business needs, to derive insights that can address stakeholders’ stated objectives.

  • Help develop standardized and innovative mechanisms to encourage adoption of analytics among stakeholder groups across the marketing spectrum, from planning to execution.

  • Help automate creation of business intelligence reports.

  • Assist with generation of monthly traffic and demand forecasts.

  • Support the ME leadership team on Executive engagement materials and critical business needs.



What we're looking for...

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Three or more years of relevant work experience in Marketing, Consumer Insights, Strategy, or Analytics.

  • Experience working in Excel and PowerPoint.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree in Business, Marketing, Economics.

  • Proven analytical skills to review quantitative data, market research, and marketing mix modeling output to identify trends, interpret findings, draft insights, and formulate recommendations.

  • Creative thinker who can quickly adjust between strategy and execution as well as adapt to dynamic needs that may arise.

  • Ability to successfully interpret complex analytical techniques and insights as well as articulate implications of recommended decisions on business outcomes.

  • Experience working effectively across organization boundaries.

  • Exceptional cross-functional experience within project management or change management teams.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to successfully build long-term relationships with internal and external partners.

  • Focus on delivering accurate and timely results by overcoming obstacles through the development of mechanisms and tools to improve efficiencies.

  • High professional ethics and standards.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $76,000.00 and $141,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
