Join the Digital Marketing & Base Management organization focused on business intelligence, strategic targeting, and opportunity conversion optimization for Verizon (VZ).The Base Management team enables information that will guide customer personalization strategies and decision making across all lines of business. Insuring the right opportunities are prioritized and presented to the right customer at the right time optimized for revenue growth and preservation. Business Intelligence (BI) resources work to cultivate a semantic layer bringing together different data elements from multiple sources.
Responsibilities include:
Designing and creating fact tables, dashboards, and reporting.
Leading the collection and aggregation of corporate relevant datasets to support BI enablement.
Driving standardization, efficiency and continuous improvement of data management.
Leveraging customer engagement data to measure performance of marketing strategies.
Establishing automated controls to notify process owners when their key business metrics change.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Experience with systems, master data and data architecture to pull data from numerous tables from multiple sources to be merged and analyzed.
Experience creating and maintaining Teradata and/or BigQuery SQL.
Experience with one or more reporting/analytics tools such as Qlik or Tableau.
Experience working with ETL utilities (Fastload, Multiload, BTEQ, and TPump).
Knowledge of office productivity software (G Suite or Office 365 or JIRA).
Even better if you have:
Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree.
Ability to work independently and own end to end responsibilities for project execution.
Curious, analytical mind with the ability to identify and assess key business risks and controls.
Experience working in cross-functional CRM programs.
Experience working analytical projects in the telecom domain.
Data Warehouse knowledge and experience with automation scripting.
