Verizon is looking for a Senior Director of Local and Segments in the Marketing Activation organization to support the Verizon Consumer Group. In this role, you will lead/drive the team responsible for owning the holistic, end to end, strategic campaign management for all Verizon local and segment work.
You will be responsible for end to end strategic communications development - from the brief stage to finalization, on all aspects of campaign development. This role will require driving campaign integration across all the CMO and business functional groups to deliver on key performance and growth objectives. More specifically, this role will be focused on complimenting our national strategy to win in local markets across the country. In addition, the role will focus on priority growth audience segments - identifying and creating bespoke strategies and campaigns to drive business growth and brand affinity.
Developing local marketing strategies & campaigns, deploying local marketing plans at scale. Building plans to compliment Verizon’s national campaign efforts.
Developing marketing strategies and bespoke campaign approaches to win priority audience segments.
Creating winning strategies to drive growth and build brand affinity with the Latino segment.
Driving the direction of briefs, as well as key research plans, to inform approaches.
Working cross functionally with CMO and business unit partners to build plans, stake-holder through corporate and local market teams.
Driving overall process and tool transformation efforts to improve program development and automation across cross-functional teams.
Ensuring projects are on time, within budget, and are evaluated for ROI /managing and optimizing performance based on weekly, monthly and quarterly data reports.
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of strategic marketing management, creative campaign development, program management or integrated marketing experience.
Experience managing and influencing relationships at the senior level; presenting to and interacting with all levels of management with positive outcomes.
Experience with stakeholder and client management within highly matrixed, complex organizations.
Experience implementing, supporting, and tracking multiple programs under strict timelines and meeting deadlines.
Experience in project management including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk and meet project goals on time.
Experience independently driving initiatives in successful collaboration with others.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $193,000.00 and $358,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
