As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world-class products. These products meet and exceed customer needs in the area of semantic road, with a focus on enhancing camera perception of landmarks such as traffic signs, traffic lights, and road markers using AI, maps and other technologies
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or above in Communication, Electrical, Computer and related majors
More than 3 years of work experience, with 2+ years of product development experience in autonomous driving or robotics preferred
Excellent C++ programming skills; Familiarity with Python/MATLAB/Bazel
AWS or cloud knowledge, as well as Foxglove as a nice-to-have
Strong fundamentals in linear algebra, probability theory, statistics and signal processing, machine learning
Strong technical knowledge and prior experience with multi-sensor fusion, filtering principles such as EKF/ PF, graph optimization and other related topics
Familiarity with embedded operating systems, with experience in optimizing embedded operating systems and implementing products is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work across functional teams, ability to work with global teams and communicate effectively in English
Familiarity with development tools: Git, Docker, ROS, …
Leverages advanced systems knowledge and experience to design, develop, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions while ensuring system-level requirements and standards are met.
Designs and implements complex software modules for products and systems
Experience in reprocessing and KPIs
Participates in design, coding for features, unit testing, debugging, and integration efforts to ensure projects are completed to specifications and schedules.
Analyzes and implements complexity optimization techniques in different development platforms
Performs code reviews and regression tests as well as triages and fixes issues to ensure the quality of code.
Drives triage of complex problems at the system level to determine root cause and presents results of testing and debugging to internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborates with other project teams to accomplish project objectives.
Writes technical documentation for software projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
