As a senior consultant in the ERP Governance and Compliance team, you will be responsible for driving and executing IT Test management practices of key SAP modules in the supply chain/finance department. You will be part of a centralized ERP team that hosts all the key ERP integration functions. If you are passionate about testing on multiple platforms, across critical boundary systems, this team works on all the latest and greatest technologies to focus on a best-of-class user experience. The primary function of this role is to own and drive testing initiatives in these projects from India.

• Leading complete test management programs including full-cycle quality testing, scope definition, requirements traceability to ensure business requirements, functional specifications and designs are linked to test artifacts.

• Developing software test cases & scripts independently in including unit, functional, exploratory, regression, performance, and security testing that includes automated elements and any other relevant tests to the project quality assurance.

• Writing and maintaining test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on specifications and requirements for technically complex software projects.

• Providing walkthroughs of the existing/new scenarios to the test automation team for developing automated test cases

• Executing, Identifying, communicating, and documenting discrepancies encountered during the testing process. Create, review, and update software defects in the defect tracking database.

• Assisting Automation Engineers with functional issues they encounter. Prepare reusable functions, to improve the robustness, re-usability, and maintainability of their test scripts.

• Participating in the project intake, project plan, and test planning, strategy discussions, and providing inputs from a functional testing perspective

• Collaborating with the Continuous Delivery (CD) team to ensure the Automation Framework integrates seamlessly with the CD pipeline.

• Working independently under minimum supervision. A strong sense of responsibility and quality focus, fast learning, and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

• Multi-tasking with High attention to detail with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, triage issues, and react well to changes in a fast-paced environment.

Where you’ll be working…

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Six or more years of relevant work experience

• 6+ Years’ Experience in SAP Functional Domain specific to Supply Chain - Preferably in Procurement, Sourcing, SD, MM or Finance - Preferably in ATR, R2R, CFIN, I2P, TAX 

• Project Management experience

• Experience in defining Test Strategies, Test Plans and Test Scope with the ability to identify Test Automation investment opportunities 

• Experience enforcing traceability to development requirements across testing cycles including System Integration, Functional, Regression, User Acceptance and Smoke/Sanity testing.

• Exposure to all SDLC implementation phases:  Planning, Design, Blueprint, Data Migration, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), End User training, Cut-Over, Delivery, Go-live and Post Go-live. 

• Experience gathering testing requirements, building test case inventory, developing and maintaining test scripts, and test execution prioritization.

• Experience in facilitating daily status meetings, managing test execution and defect resolution tracking and reporting blockers to management.

• Experience with software defect tracking systems such as qTest, JIRA, Agile Studio, Quality Center, or relevant. Reporting, troubleshooting, and retesting.

• 2-3 years of experience with ALM Quality Center software or qTest, QA Methodology, and Defect Management process. 

• Experience measuring test quality through metrics and KPIs related to test execution and defects.

• 2-3 years of experience with Jira.

• Experience with creating Jira boards, dashboards and EasyBI reports

• Exposure with the Lucid charts to create workflow

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable in proactively communicating with others both within and outside of the immediate team to resolve issues and get questions answered is required.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently to resolve complex issues promptly.

Even better if you have:

• SAP Functional Certification in Supply Chain or Finance Modules

• 2-3 years of experience with TOSCA, Q-Test

• Experience in SOAP UI Automation/ Performance Testing etc.

• Supply Chain or Finance Domain experience.

• Experience in testing security/functional vulnerabilities and ability to ensure we don’t deliver code with vulnerability
