Job Description
This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds - flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 2-3 per week averaging 10-12 days per month in our St Petersburg, FL Corporate Office.
Job Summary:
This role will support new development for our Securities Center application suite, and will build the front end for fixed income, corporate actions, and mutual funds applications. As part of a development technology team, the team member analyzes business requirements and problems and drives research to design quality technical solutions. The candidate will be involved in portions of the full systems life cycle (based on experience/skills) and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget. Handles complex problems independently and demonstrates analytical thinking. Is able to make judgments and recommendations based on the analysis and interpretation of data.

Job Requirements
Experience and Skills:
Angular developer who can design and build a streamlined application to company specifications
3-5 years of experience writing complex front-end applications using Angular or similar frameworks
In-depth understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript HTML5, and CSS
The ideal candidate will also have strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
Participates in assigned projects, including assigning tasks, coordinating efforts, and monitoring performance.
May obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
Writes and/or reviews system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts.
Assists in preparing project plans using project management tools.
Reviews test results documents test activities, and records remedial actions.
Ensures proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage.
Extensive knowledge of theoretical software engineering
Education/Previous Experience:
Typically requires a Bachelor%26rsquos degree 3-5 years of relevant experience. May have one or more technical or business-related certifications.
Licenses/Certifications:
Java certifications preferred but not required
