Job Description:

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior Network and Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team in Laurel Maryland. In this role, you'll lead critical projects, manage cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to missions that matter.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze system requirements, breaking them down into achievable milestones.

  • Lead a small team, prioritizing tasks and managing customer expectations.

  • Configure and deploy networking switches.

  • Research and implement system management and deployment solutions.

  • Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters.

  • Set up, maintain, and improve clusters for various projects.

  • Work with tools such as Docker, Rancher, Slurm, and Puppet.

  • Secure systems to meet hardening and compliance requirements.

  • Optimize networking for clusters.

  • Collaborate with vendors on upgrades and hardware improvements.

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • 15+ years of experience as a Network/Infrastructure Engineer and System Administrator in Linux environments.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • Strong leadership and project management skills.

  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies.

  • Proficiency in network security and system hardening.

Desired: 

  • RHCSA certification

  • Security+ certification
