Job Description:

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to support the US Air Force Central Command (AFCENT), Network Operations Security Center (NOSC). This exciting role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technology, supporting national security and Air Force warfighters in the CENTCOM theater. The position is based at Shaw Air Force Base, SC, offering a great balance between professional growth and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead a team of IT project managers on sustainment and technical refresh projects

  • Provide project management oversight for information systems and technology projects

  • Develop detailed project plans, track resources, and provide reports and briefings

  • Coordinate IT contracts and manage acquisition of project resources

  • Install, configure, and maintain project management software and web pages

  • Research emerging IT/Cybersecurity technologies and provide strategic recommendations

  • Provide training and support to personnel, including potential deployments (up to 25% travel)

    Qualifications:

    Required: 

  • Ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance

  • BS in related field with 5+ years' experience, or 7+ years' relevant experience

  • MS Project Server experience

  • PMP® or equivalent certification

  • DoD 8570 IAT II Baseline Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)

  • ITIL Foundation certification (to be obtained within 60 days of start)

     

    Desired:

    Experience in DoD, Air Force, local, and deployed base environments

    Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.     The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $78,100 - $171,900
