• Responsible for conceiving, specifying, designing, programming, documenting, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining software components (excluding applications).
• Analyzes requirements and determines the design of the software systems and services that best meets the needs of the business.
• Structure, design, and document software components and services, utilizing the necessary programming languages.
• Develop the initial design and testing framework to ensure the software meets the requirements of the business and functions accordingly.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to code and develop features and be prepared to work in a time-based environment.
• Must possess and demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude, highly motivated with good communication skills.
• Diagnose production issues and work to fix issues in a timely manner.
• Work closely with other developers to achieve the project deliverable.
• Create design and interface documents for the business features.
• Research and investigate new technologies applicable to development needs of the project.
• Identify ways to enhance product quality, product functionality and user experience

What we are looking for…

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Experience is required for J2EE back end related technologies, client/server communication, REST APIs, JSON, advanced SQL for databases like MySQL and Oracle.
• Good hands-on writing procedures based on business logic. Knowledge of AWS and microservices architecture concepts.
• Module Design and Problem Solving - Ability to solve complex business problems and demonstrate ability to debug Production issues.

• Advanced SQL and schema, Oracle/Mysql.
• Experience in Hibernate, Spring, REST APIs, JSON.
• Extensive File I/O, text file parsing, Tomcat/nginx.
• Knowledge of AWS and microservices architecture concepts.
• Familiarity with a scripting language and continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Maven or ANT.
• Delivery experience with Agile development life cycle.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues across the entire stack.
