Job Description:

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a highly experienced Senior Liaison to support the Air Force Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) Program. This program is focused on modernizing and sustaining base-level infrastructure, ensuring compliance with Air Force standards, and integrating advanced technology solutions to enhance mission readiness and operations. The Senior Liaison will serve as a critical bridge between CACI, Air Force senior leaders, and program stakeholders, ensuring a seamless transition into program execution. The incumbent will leverage their senior-level Air Force Staff, Major Command (MAJCOM) and communications squadron (CS) experience to establish trust, facilitate communication, and align program goals with Air Force operational requirements.

This Senior Liaison position is a high-visibility role that will set the foundation for successful program execution of Air Force BIM. This role is integral to the program’s initial engagement phase, participating alongside MAJCOM and base leadership, project managers and lead engineers to ensure the Air Force has full confidence in CACI’s expertise and understanding of their expectations. If you are a seasoned Air Force leader with staff and operational experience and a deep understanding of Air Force Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) operations, we encourage you to apply and contribute to this critical modernization and sustainment effort.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary Air Force subject matter expert (SME) for IT infrastructure modernization and sustainment, ensuring alignment with DAF CIO, MAJCOM and base requirements, policies, and expectations.

  • Represent CACI in high-level engagements with Air Force leadership, providing expert guidance on modernization initiatives and sustainment efforts.

  • Act as a trusted liaison between CACI and base-level/MAJCOM leadership, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.

  • Facilitate early-stage program integration and stakeholder alignment, ensuring all parties understand the objectives, deliverables, and compliance requirements.

  • Advise project managers and lead engineers on Air Force C4ISR operations, processes, technical expectations, and procedural best practices.

  • Identify potential challenges and risks related to Air Force’s IT base infrastructure modernization, sustainment and provide strategic recommendations to BIM stakeholders.

  • Support the development of program documentation, compliance strategies, and reporting aligned with Air Force protocols.

  • Assist in policy interpretation and procedural adjustments, ensuring program efforts remain compliant with Air Force directives and PACAF-specific requirements.

  • Coordinate with Air Force offices, MAJCOM stakeholders, base-level leadership and IT/communications teams to streamline program execution.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to CACI personnel on Air Force culture, C4ISR operations, and staff key decision-making processes.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

  • 15+ years of senior-level Air Force experience with communications, C4ISR and information technology.

  • Deep understanding of Air Force communications and IT infrastructure, with experience supporting base-level modernization and sustainment efforts.

  • Proven experience engaging with senior Air Force leadership, advocating for mission-critical initiatives, and delivering C4ISR solutions to ensure successful mission execution.

  • Strong knowledge of Air Force infrastructure modernization policies, processes, and cybersecurity requirements.

  • Experience supporting large-scale DoD programs with a focus on enterprise IT, cybersecurity, and network modernization and sustainment.

  • Ability to navigate complex DoD acquisition and funding processes, ensuring program alignment with Air Force financial planning goals.

  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving.

    Desired:

Active Top Secret clearance strongly preferred.
