Job Summary:

Under limited supervision, uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through experience and training to assist in the development, management and implementation of HR strategy and solutions for the business units being supported. Develops strong business relationships with the leadership teams within the business units and helping drive the people agenda. The position reports directly to the HR Business Partner team and is part of a matrix environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

Principles, practices, and procedures of human resources administration.

Legal requirements and federal and state regulations and their impact on human resource issues.

Company%26rsquos working structure, competitive strengths, industry dynamics, profit levers, customers, and competitors.

Statistical methods and concepts and other analytical tools used in human resource process.

Facilitation and presentation methods and techniques.

Microsoft Office Suite, Workday

Skill in:

Communication and influencing, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

Creating and maintaining relationships with HR specialist and consultants to ensure that agreed levels of effective service are delivered.

Analyzing and presenting data and information to various managers or leadership teams enabling sound business decisions.

Contributing as a member of the broader HR team.

Ability to:

Maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends.

Use initiative, determination and excellent consultative skills in order to identify problems in the early stages and provide solutions or suggestions.

Advise management on organizational matters.

Engage, inspire and influence people.

Be an effective team player.

Analyze situations, conceptualize solutions and communicate effectively with management and associates

Interpret and apply state and federal statues and applicable rules and regulations to routine human resources issues and problems.

Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with internal associates and external contacts at all levels.

Organize, coordinate and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

Keep all appropriate parties up-to-date on decisions, changes, and other relevant information and articulate reasons behind decisions.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:

Bachelor%26rsquos degree and a minimum of six (6) years of professional human resources experience, including a minimum of three (3) years experience in client consulting

Minimum of nine (9) years of professional human resources experience, including a minimum of three (3) years experience in client consulting.
