As a Senior Technical Manager for the Consumer security and FinTech development team you will lead the Operation (QA, Devops and Support) Team  of Verizon Protect , Fraud prevention,cloud and Verizon Visa Card. You will have the opportunity to build a highly scalable secured  platform for Security solutions. You will build products and services that will have a huge impact on how consumer security and Fintech platforms and solutions will be built in the future. 

  • Manage a high performing team of 5-10 engineers & engineering leads who work across  QA, Devops and Support. 

  • Lead and Manage the QA, Devops and Support  team, Providing Guidance, mentorship and support to the product like Consumer security, Identity, cloud and Fintech solution. 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy to ensure product Quality and customer satisfaction. 

  • Establish QA,Devops,Support Process, Standard and Best Practices to be followed across the organisation. 

  • Collaborate with Designers, Developers, Product Managers, DevOps, Support, and vendors to Define Quality standard, requirements, communicate issues, prioritise fixes, and ensure overall alignment with the Project Goal

  • Monitor QA, Devops and Support Metrics and KPIs to track performance and effectiveness

  • Conduct regular review/audit and inspections in Test execution results. 

  • Manage QA, Devops and Support  resources, Budget and Timeline effectively.

  • Manage SOW Creation and Renewal , Collaborate  with Finance , Legal, sourcing ,Asset Team, Corporate security, onboarding Team to hire, onboard, manage and offboard SOW Vendor.  

  • Communicate QA Strategies, initiatives and results to senior management and stakeholders. 

  • To Evaluate the user interface(UI)  and user experience (UX) to ensure ease of use, intuitive navigation, and overall user satisfaction

  • Verify that all feature and functionality of the application works as expected according to the requirements

  • To ensure that the Application functions correctly across different devices, Operation systems, screen sizes, and Resolution 

  • Assess the application's performance in terms of speed, responsiveness, and stability under various conditions such as different network speeds and device capabilities. 

  • Ensure platform infrastructure is stable and reliable with Auto scaling, Failover, Performance/Load Testing and Redundancy Testing

  • Plan to Identify and Address potential security vulnerabilities such as data breaches, unauthorised access, and encryption issues. 

  • A good analytical aptitude to apply quality assurance principles to all aspects of work

  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to work successfully with onshore and cross-functional team

  • Continuously improve the QA Process based on the feedback received from the Team. 

  • Additionally, this role will drive AI Initiatives in QA, Devops and Support and act as a Scrum Master to ensure agile best practices. 

What we are looking for…

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or six or more years of work experience.

  • Experience in Quality Assurance/ Devops/Support with managing engineering teams.

  • Strong Leadership and Team Building skills.

  • Strong knowledge of QA, Devops and Support Methodologies, tools and processes. 

  • Experience in Leading and Managing QA, Devops and Support Team

  • Excellent communication, analytical , problem solving  and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to prioritise and  Manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.

  • Expert in IOS and Android App automation using Robot Framework, Python, and Appium.

  • Leverage AI for all the QA, Devops and Support work scope in the Automation. 

  • Should be able to integrate mobile automation suite with Device farm, Browser stack to leverage and trigger on different devices

  • Experience with Xcode, Android Studio, ADB, and Charles Proxy

  • Highly Skilled in Python programming and Requests Library for Backend Automation

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies - AWS preferred

  • Experience with containers and orchestration tools like Docker Kubernetes and EKS.

  • Should have hands-on experience working in Jenkins, Git, Jira, Confluence, any test management system, etc.

  • Good Understanding and working experience with Linux

  • Hands-on experience in bash or some shell scripting.

Even better if you have:

  • Ability to make meaningful technical and business trade-offs with extensive knowledge of data engineering tools, technologies and approaches.

  • Lead distributed agile development processes and methodologies.

  • Experience in AI-Driven Application Development (ML Models , AI Based security).

  • Hands-on experience in QA Test Tools like Jmeter, Load runner, and POSTMAN.
