As a Product Manager in the Verizon Business Group (VBG) Devices and Device Services team, you’ll be responsible for driving our Satellite connectivity across mobile and broadband devices. You will work cross-functionally with Pricing, Marketing, Strategy, Finance, and technology development teams. You will craft a long term vision for the category and adjust along the way as the product responds to the market.
End-to-End product ownership.
Understanding and anticipating what the market needs.
Participate in business case development and presentations for alignment with working teams.
Developing, driving and align teams to a multiyear roadmap.
Testing out new ideas and concepts for feasibility and market potential.
Creating what’s next to meet those needs.
Defining the product vision and customer experience and bringing it to the global market.
Forging strong relationships with external partners and cross-functional teams to get it all done.
Advocating for your products to gain resources and support needed for success.
Defining KPIs and assessing performance for continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for…

You’ll need to have:
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Experience developing and implementing product business cases or managing products from ideation to launch.
Two or more years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
Domain knowledge of LTE or 5G networks.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
A Master’s degree – ideally an MBA.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is preferred.
Knowledge of Satellite communication networks.
Exceptional communication skills; written, oral and presentation.
Executive grade presentation skills with emphasis on storytelling and cross-functional alignment.
Familiarity with best-practices-based product management concepts.
Convey your ideas in compelling and persuasive ways to a variety of audiences.
Led a team to achieve goals.
Proven ability to manage deadlines in a highly-complex, fast-paced environment.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
Experiencing leading product teams, especially cross-functional teams, with ability to execute on multiple assignments independently and proactively.
Mentor team members, foster their growth, and identify areas for skill enhancement.
Innovation mindset.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $119,000.00 and $241,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
