The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support our growing Optical & Photonics Systems (OPS) Strategic Business Unit within the National Security and Innovative Solutions (NSIS) sector. This is an opportunity to work with highly dedicated professionals on the cutting edge of optical sensing and communication missions. This position is preferred to be in Florham Park, NJ with potential travel to other company sites.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for all Program Level business analysis and support within the Optics and Photonics Solutions (OPS) East department.  This includes financial analysis, customer financial coordination, reporting, management, forecasting, variance analysis, estimates at complete (EAC), new business pricing strategy, and other related financial reporting. The position reports directly to the OPS East Finance Manager.

  • Work closely with Line Management Stakeholders (e.g., Program Managers, Portfolio Managers, VPs and Directors) to maximize financial performance.
  • Coordinate and provide financial support of the annual financial planning process, multi-year planning, monthly forecasting, and financial close reporting requirements.
  • Analyze/assist in accurate projection of quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC).
  • Participate in risk and opportunity evaluation process.
  • Ensure projects are set up compliant with all applicable policies and procedures to properly capture costs and recognize revenue.
  • Ensure invoicing and collections are completed timely and accurately with the objective to reduce DSO.
  • Active participant in the process phases and milestones for new pursuits. Milestone 4 (Pricing reviews).
  • Train and educate Program Managers, Control Account Managers and customers on various aspects of program financials.
  • Mentor and provide guidance and oversight to junior finance team members.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant program finance experience supporting a government services contractor in a finance role.
  • Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations & Cost Accounting Standards
  • Experience managing a financial portfolio with complex technology solutions.
  • Proficiency with financial and accounting reporting systems such as CostPoint and COGNOS
  • Proficiency with Excel functions at an intermediate level, including large multi-worksheet models, lookups, and pivot tables.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing and changing priorities, move quickly amongst various taskings, and meet deadlines.
  • Adept at working independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Professional/effective communication – written and oral
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to consider and identify innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Experience with Deltek Cobra.
  • Knowledge of Earned value and EVMS highly desired.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,800 - $180,200
