The Opportunity:CACI is looking for a Senior Project Manager to support our customer to provide a common set of required EIT services across 187 bases to implement a consistent, high-quality experience for users across all mission environments and enable USAF to transition focus from network operations to mission operations.
The Senior Project Manager will support our DoD customer to implement an enterprise IT service delivery model that provides consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and improve end user experience across the customer environment.
The Senior Project Manager will oversee and manage IT projects including software applications, engineering projects, infrastructure and facility projects, and enterprise deployment activities in support of the Department of the Air Force. Successful candidates will coordinate and direct activities of a matrixed technical team including subject matter experts (SMEs), technicians, developers, and other appropriate expertise as needed to develop, design, document, implement and manage small- and large-scale projects. Project Managers will ensure compliance with established project implementation processes through all phases of the project life cycle (planning, requirements definition, design, development, integration, test, disposition, implementation, operations & maintenance) as well as deliver the appropriate artifacts as defined by the level of the project.
