Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives and company goals
• Gather and translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform utilizing industry standard best practices
• Attend daily Sprint meetings with global development team members
• Manage daily support and maintenance of assigned Salesforce applications.
• Consult with internal stakeholders to develop short and long-term strategies for product and process improvements
• Integrate Salesforce applications with on-premise systems using web services or ETL processes
• Drive development process improvement in the areas of CI/CD, test automation and the definition of standards and best practices to be used by the SFDC development team
Level of Responsibility:
• Working independently with little supervision
• Taking responsibility for own work and making decisions that are moderate in impact; errors may have financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships; errors may require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct
• Using verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question. Role may require basic negotiation and influence, cooperation, tact, and diplomacy, etc.
• Having a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to provide input on key decisions)
• Using deductive and inductive problem solving; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or incomplete; intermediate data analysis/interpretation skills may be required
• Exercising substantial creativity to innovate new processes, procedures, or work products within guidelines or to achieve established objectives
What are we looking for:
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision
• 5+ yrs of proven work experience building and delivering technical implementations of customer projects
• 3-5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a large corporate organization (SFDC certification preferred)
• 3-5+ years developing Salesforce applications using out-of-the-box feature capabilities such as Flows, Process Builder as well as utilizing Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, Javascript and the AJAX Toolkit
• Knowledge of in REST/SOAP APIs (XML, JSON), Informatica Cloud ETL Processes
• Strong experience with object modeling in Salesforce and understanding of fundamental database concepts (including SOQL
