As a Technical Product Manager for PayPal Braintree Revenue Optimization, you will play a pivotal role in enabling solutions that enable our merchants to optimize their payments by not only boosting their authorization rates but also lowering costs, bolstering security, and ultimately driving revenue growth for our merchants.

Meet our team
The PayPal Braintree Revenue Optimization team is looking for a versatile, seasoned Senior Product Manager that can work in a dynamic, matrixed environment and can be the product lead for our existing product suite or expanding new orchestration offerings to meet the optimization needs of our most demanding enterprise, large, and mid market merchants at scale. We work closely with both internal and external stakeholders from engineering, go-to-market, finance and legal and compliance to ensure that we are offering services to our merchants at the highest levels, helping them to serve their customer’s needs.

Your Way to Impact:
As a Technical Product Manager for PayPal Braintree Revenue Optimization, you will play a pivotal role in enabling solutions that enable our merchants to optimize their payments by not only boosting their authorization rates but also lowering costs, bolstering security, optimizing routing, and ultimately driving revenue growth for our merchants. 

Your Day to Day:

  • Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for one or more highly complex revenue optimization products, aligning with organizational goals and merchant needs.

  • Define detailed product requirements and user stories, ensuring clear understanding across all stakeholders.

  • Prioritize and manage product backlog, making trade-off decisions based on business priorities and merchant feedback.

  • Coordinate with engineering teams to build and deliver product enhancements.

  • Track and analyze product metrics to measure success and inform future product decisions.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert & evangelist on your products, providing guidance and support to other teams within the organization.

  • Lead product launch efforts and ensure successful adoption by merchants worldwide.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify payments trends, competitive landscape, and product opportunities.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to gain buy-in and support for product initiatives.

What You Need to Bring:

  • 3+ years of product management experience in fintech or payments, with extensive partner management and merchant-facing experience.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and ambiguous environment, with a focus on delivering measurable impact and driving business growth.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
