This position supports a small team providing all-source WMD intelligence to a client in Charlottesville, Virginia. As a member of our team, you will create detailed assessments, briefings, and other intelligence products in a highly collaborative work environment. Your technical expertise, writing skills, creativity, and critical thinking will be put to excellent use. You will make vital contributions to a critical mission area, with the opportunity to inform senior-level policy decisions on a range of WMD topics.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform weapons of mass destruction (WMD) (e.g. chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) analysis to develop innovative collection concepts
  • Interface with academia, DoD, national labs and the Intelligence Community to address WMD issues
  • Independently develop procedures/tradecraft for more junior personnel
  • Write reports detailing methods, results, and impacts to assigned WMD issues

Qualifications:

Required:

TS/SCI with Polygraph

PhD degree in engineering, science, or equivalent experience

10 years' experience creating WMD-related reports based upon the resulting work/accomplishments

Published WMD reports and/or authored new procedures/methods to create innovative approaches to solve complex WMD issues

Significant current experience (i.e. within last 2 years) in WMD-related work

Desired:

Understanding of analytic tradecraft standards (ICDs)

Experience writing Defense Intelligence Finished Intelligence (FINTEL) assessments

Proficiency with IC query tools (RMT, NGT, etc.), reporting repositories, and databases

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$104,200-$229,200
