POSITION SUMMARY: The Service Quality Engineer (SQE) serves as a key liaison between Evolution Well Services (EVO) and its partners, utilizing technical expertise and interpersonal skills to enhance service delivery and strengthen client relationships. This role emphasizes driving improvements in operational efficiency through the Evolution Service Quality System (EVO SQ System) and leveraging experience in U.S. Land Completions and customer-facing roles to ensure high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word 'May.')

  • Lead all communication and relationship management efforts with assigned Evolution clients and/or partners, focusing on maintaining strong partnerships.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of U.S. Land Completions to address client needs and ensure alignment with contractual obligations.
  • Ensure all Evolution-defined and client-defined service quality issues are documented and managed through the EVO SQ System.
  • Oversee and resolve root cause analyses (RCAs) identified within the EVO SQ System, ensuring thorough communication and resolution.
  • Coach and mentor SREs to implement effective, engineered solutions to RCAs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present innovative solutions that address client challenges.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support successful operations and business continuity.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Successfully passes background check and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Possesses a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
  • Daily predictable attendance.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or equivalent technical field
  • Minimum 4 years of hydraulic fracturing experience, preferably with electric and/or turbine activities
  • Prior business development experience, in-house experience, and/or leadership training

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced digital tools and software applications.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovate both internally and in client partnerships.
  • Skilled at team leadership and collaboration across departments.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extensive experience in U.S. Land Completions, with a demonstrated understanding of industry-specific challenges and solutions.

  • Recognition as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within TapRooT and EVO SQ Systems.

Frequently required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach, and squat/kneel. An SQE works primarily indoors and will be sitting for prolonged periods at a desk while typing on a computer, whether in home office, corporate office, client office, or EVO jobsite. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. When required to go to a wellsite, the SQE’s work environment may include exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio up to 85 dB, and inclement weather, including typical and atypical outdoor elements and extreme cold and hot weather temperatures. Given these conditions, if visiting a pad, the SQE may be required to wear company-mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE) (fire retardant coveralls, safety hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection, and safety gloves) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies. SQEs must be able to lift 25 lbs. independently.

Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination depending on job necessity.
