Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a ServiceNow DevOps Developer who will support a government contract located in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities for the ServiceNow DevOps Developer:

•       Write production backend applications

•       Ship and run services in cloud environments, with a focus on AWS

•       Follow best practices for securing cloud services

•       Compile and analyze data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems

•        Identifies and implements best-practice solutions to address client requirements

•       Performs operational support of custom development and 3rd party integrations

•       Performs unit-testing and resolves code defects

•       Assists with technical design and documentation

•       Collaborates with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions that support business requirements

Qualifications for the ServiceNow DevOps Developer:

•       Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent

•       Experience in any of the responsibilities listed above

•       7 years of software development experience

•       Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Ruby, Python, Perl, Bash, JavaScript)

•       Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL/CentOS/Debian) and its fundamentals

•       Must have an Active TS/Sci With CI Poly

•       Possess a current DoD Approved 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g. Security+ CE)

Compensation for the ServiceNow DevOps Developer:

• $160,000 – $175,000 *Depending on Experience.
• Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holiday, 401k, and PTO
