The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a SharePoint Developer (Journeyman) with Power BI expertise to support the Maritime Industrial Base Program. In this role, you will independently manage and develop customized SharePoint solutions while integrating advanced business intelligence dashboards and reporting tools. You will work directly with users and stakeholders to optimize usability, drive data visibility, and ensure product reliability. Your skills in front-end development, testing strategies, and user-centric design will support mission-critical collaboration and data solutions for the defense industrial base.

**The position is primarily remote; however, candidates located in the DMV area are preferred due to client-facing responsibilities. **

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, workflows, and content management solutions.

  • Integrate Power BI dashboards and reports into SharePoint environments to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Plan and execute testing strategies to evaluate SharePoint and Power BI solutions for functionality, performance, and compliance with system requirements.

  • Apply UX/UI principles and design thinking to create engaging, user-centric SharePoint and Power BI experiences.

  • Conduct user research, develop mockups and wireframes, and organize information architecture to improve usability and navigation.

  • Collaborate with users, designers, and developers to iterate and refine solutions based on feedback and behavioral insights.

  • Document technical specifications, user guides, and implementation procedures to support system adoption and maintenance.

    Qualifications:

    Required: 

  • Active SECRET clearance.

  • 5–10 years of relevant experience with a BA/BS or MA/MS degree.

  • Proficiency in SharePoint development, workflows, site customization, and Power BI integration.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently across development, testing, and user engagement tasks.

  • Strong background in UI/UX principles, front-end design, and user research.

  • Experience with technical documentation and quality control processes.

    Preferred:

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or federal programs.

  • Familiarity with Agile development practices and collaborative toolsets.

  • Knowledge of human-centered design and accessibility standards.

  • Strong communication skills with attention to technical accuracy and user clarity.

    The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $68,400-$143,700
