Job Title: Shipping Coordinator/Material Handler

Location: Cadillac, MI

Business Unit: Respiratory 

Purpose of Position: 

To assist with daily shipments from Avon Protection Systems in a fast-paced environment. Working with both the shipping team and the warehouse team.

Essential duties and/or Functions:

This is a hybrid position that will focus on assisting the shipping team with domestic and international shipments in our ERP system (X3), preparing freight quotes, arranging shipments with carriers and preparing packages for shipment. In addition to helping the shipping team process shipments, this role will be responsible for assisting the team in the warehouse, doing things such as wrapping and labeling pallets, loading trucks, cycle counting and any other tasks necessary to ensure we are meeting our goals. 

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Computer skills required (email, ERP, Microsoft Office). 
• Detail oriented
• The ability to multitask
• Capable of working under pressure. 
• Excellent attendance is a must.
• Valid driver's license as hilo driving will be required.
• The ability to repeatedly lift 50lbs required.

The anticipated hourly wage for candidates who will work in Cadillac, MI is $22.07 per hour.  The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
