Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a HYBRID (1 day/on-site) Software Architect to assist a Premier consulting firm with their mission to tailor and integrate Human Resources Solutions for federal customers. This position will be in Chantily, VA and requires US Citizenship.

Responsibilities of Software Architect:

•      Lead design, development, testing, maintenance of microservices built on the MEAN stack and other technologies

•      Prepare releases and aide CloudOps team in DevOps infrastructure

•      Make Architectural decisions including the selections of libraries, frameworks, cloud platforms, & 3^rd part services to leverage

•      Must be able to work in a team and individually demonstrate effective verbal written communication, learn quickly, solve problems, & be professional.

Qualifications of Software Architect:

•      10+ years of experience designing & developing web-based solutions

•      Experience designing and implementing microservice based architectures

•      Strong experience with modern web frameworks (Angular 2+ or React)

•      Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

•      US Citizenship Required

Compensation for Software Architect:

•      Salary Range: $160,000-170,000
