The Opportunity:Are you interested in continuing your career in Europe in a mission focused environment? CACI has established and upcoming positions throughout the European theater supporting multiple customers for the Department of Defense. We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of AFRICOM, EUCOM and CJTF-HOA’s mission objectives.Join a dynamic team of Software Engineers providing development support and custom ASP.NET software development for multiple COCOMs, associated staff elements and organizations. Work in a team environment to steward custom built applications through the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Candidate will assist in the daily maintenance of existing web applications and public facing web sites. Participate in the modernization and enhancement of legacy applications and web sites as identified by the client.
Responsibilities:Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core frameworks.
Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented C# code for both front-end and back-end components.
Developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
Working with databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) to design schemas, write queries, and optimize performance.
Implementing front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and potentially frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
Implementing security best practices and data protection measures.
Integrating third-party services and APIs as needed.
Conducting code reviews and participating in pair programming sessions.
Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving software defects.
Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Collaborating with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive user interfaces.
Staying updated with the latest .NET technologies, tools, and best practices.
Participating in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
Mentoring junior developers and sharing knowledge within the team.
Assisting in the deployment and maintenance of applications in various environments (development, staging, production).
Writing and maintaining technical documentation.
Participating in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
