Job Summary:

Zachary Piper Solutions is in search of a highly skilled and motivated mid-to-senior level Software Developer to join a growing company based in Chantilly, VA on a primarily REMOTE basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing, maintaining, and testing microservices built on the MEAN stack and must be a clearable U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities of the Software Developer include:

  • Design, develop, maintain, test, and document high-quality software solutions.
  • Tackle complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Stay abreast of and apply new technologies to enhance our software offerings.
  • Manage and maintain corporate software libraries efficiently.
  • Promptly review, diagnose, and fix defects and problems as assigned.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide expert advice on application design and usage.
  • Communicate complex technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Mentor peers and contribute to the growth of the technical team.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork, effective communication, quick learning, problem-solving, and professionalism.

Qualifications for the Software Developer include:

  • 3-7 years of experience in designing and developing web-based solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
  • Proficiency with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular/AngularJS, Node.js).
  • Experience in developing RESTful web services.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Public Trust Clearance

Compensation for the Software Developer include:

 

  • Salary Range: $120,000-$150,000/year **depending on experience**

  • Remote flexible structure (optional onsite 1x per month for team bonding)
