Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Job Overview
As part of the engineering team of Qualcomm China, mainly focus on Automotive infotainment platform. We are looking for talents who will be responsible for APT functionality on Qualcomm Automotive platform, focus on Linux, Android and QNX system. The candidate will engage in the following areas but not limit to:
- Develop and Porting Automotive user application and test tools.
- Develop and maintain automation test framework.
Minimum Qualifications
Have 3+ years arm embedded Linux system development experience:
- Strong knowledge of experience in Linux kernel and user space development and test.
- Strong C&C++, multi-threaded programming and debugging skills in Embedded Software systems required.
- Familiar with Python, Shell, Perl etc.
- Demonstrated self-driven engineer willing to take initiative and operate with minimum guidance. Ability to learn quickly, work hard and have fun.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese, able to understand and explain highly technical information in a clear and concise manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in automotive Yocto/QT development
- Experience in Multimedia (Graphics/Display/Gstreamer/Camera/Video/Audio/ADAS) software development for Linux based embedded systems.
- Familiarity with Open GL, Open CL, 3D etc. is preferred.
- Experience in Wayland/Weston/Android SurfaceFlinger development and test.
- Experience in automation test framework develop is a plus

- Bachelor or above with a major of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or relevant
