We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Description Summary:

About the role:
As a member of the Blockchain, Crypto and Digital Currencies (BCDC) Transfers team, you
will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of PayPal’s cryptocurrency
products, including PYUSD and other cutting-edge projects. In this role, you will bring your
expertise and experience to build the infrastructure for fast scaling and high reliability
utilizing cloud-based technologies. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to
design and deliver new technologies to the market.

The Blockchain, Crypto and Digital Currencies (BCDC) Transfers team provides the blockchain
integration infrastructure for PayPal, Venmo and other products. The team’s mission is to
provide an easy, secure and stable interface to various blockchains and technologies. You will
work with teams worldwide to provide a strong suite of features for our users at scale and
impact design. Our engineers constantly innovate, experiment with new technologies and
architectures and collaborate with teams across the industry to bring new ideas to the table.

Job Description:

Your way to impact:

The Transfers team within BCDC provides the gateway to the blockchain for our customers, allowing a seamless interface to the Web3 ecosystem. Within the Transfers team you will lead the design and implementation of various crypto products, for both customers and internal teams in PayPal. Create the rails to manage PayPal’s crypto holdings and work with partners to expand PayPal’s Web3 vision.
