The Global Markets CRM Engineering team is responsible for building a world-class Client Relationship and Service Management system for our Global Markets division, including sales, sales trading, operations and client services users globally across all products. The CRM solution offers a comprehensive platform to enhance collaboration and focused client strategy development, deliver management analytics and insights, and provide sales and client service productivity tools to support workflow efficiencies, enhance client relationships and drive new revenue streams and business models.

CRM engineers have tremendous responsibility working with teams across the firm to execute on product plans and deliver digital solutions. Our CRM engineers are entrepreneurially minded, working to solve complex business, technical, and design challenges to leverage Goldman Sachs’ thought leadership and help drive transactions and business relationships.

How will you fulfill your potential?

  • Lead the technical design and architecture discussions for Salesforce projects
  • Manage day-to-day oversight of developer resources across multiple workstreams
  • Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to developers, to ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lighting Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Stay updated with latest Salesforce features and releases, and implement new functionalities as needed.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for Salesforce application support and resolution. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. 
  • Lead formal incident management process and root cause analysis.
  • Manage and prioritize support queries, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for support processes, configurations, and customizations.
  • Lead and participate in project planning, status meetings and reviewing requirements with developers.

Qualifications:

  • At least 7-10 years professional experience, with experience managing and developing small to mid-size developer teams. 
  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development in administration, with Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certification
    • The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of Salesforce sales cloud, service cloud, standard objects, sharing settings, general configuration and setup menu.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
  • Proven experience of diagnosing issues from error codes, logging, de-bugging in process builder, workflows, apex, objects, FLS, etc.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data management and best practices.
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Hands-on experience designing and developing Lightning Web Components
  • Hands on experience with DevOps tools and practices for Salesforce development and deployment.
  • Familiarity with waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Independent thinker and self-starter with proven ability to execute in complex, sophisticated and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity of CI/CD processes and tools for Salesforce 
  • Solid understanding of and experience with ETL tools like the Informatica cloud and/or Mulesoft
  • Experience with relational databases, including work with SOQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or other common RDBMS.
