Job Description:

CACI is seeking a cleared Software System Integrator for designing, developing, operating and maintaining software, firmware components, or computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with solutions or products that also encompass non-information technology related engineering or scientific disciplines. This position is based at Annapolis Junction, MD.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • May require hardware, aerospace, communications, cyber, electrical, manufacturing, mechanical, or other specialized engineering domain knowledge in order to design, develop, and support software components embedded within them. 

  • Applies the appropriate software standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the system life cycle to support the generation of multi-disciplinary solutions and products such as simulations of engineering and scientific problems, avionics, command and control, tactical displays, medical devices, sensors, and electro-mechanical systems. 

  • Interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users and other technical and support personnel.

More About The Role:

The Software System Integrator is responsible for supporting application profiling verification and assurance for critical systems and reviews systems for production performance readiness with a focus on efficiency, resiliency, reliability, scalability, required monitoring and alerting, and adherence to development and implementation standards. The Software System Integrator supports proof-of-concept activities for new applications and technologies from a standards, performance and nonfunctional analysis perspective, including general product assessment, implementation planning, testing and evaluation, tuning, and KPI identification. Collects and defines requirements; translates them into functional design documents; and participates in the technical design, test planning, and user documentation processes. Participates in integration efforts between line-of-business systems and finance systems. Works with users and peers in planning, developing, implementing, and supporting new or existing applications. Participates in software design, prototyping, construction, and testing of new or enhanced accounting-related applications. Assists in training users on new or enhanced accounting-related applications. Delivers overall functionality and project delivery. Assigned to a specific TDP team and familiarizes themselves with their IT needs. Organizes and executes deployment (including cloud deployment), maintenance, and administration of virtual environments (including cloud). Supervises and mentors subordinate project.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • An active DoD TS/SCI clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field.

  • 7 - 9 years of position relevant work experience.

  • Certification in AWS Solutions Architect Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, or Google Cloud Platform Associate Engineer or

    equivalent.

  • DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II.

  • Experience with Cloud migration activities.

  • Experience with the software development lifecycle.
