Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a qualified Solutions Architect to join a federal program based in Washington, DC on a HYBRID basis. This position requires eligibility for a Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities of the Solutions Architect:

• Translate customer IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting systems architecture for critical mission needs
• Lead the transformation of law enforcement technology, including cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems
• Mentor the next set of developers to help them grow into tomorrow’s solutions architects
• Shape the digital solutions business and identify growth opportunities

Requirements of the Solutions Architect:

• 15+ years of experience with programming
• 10+ years of experience architecting software solutions based on customer requirements
• Experience with architecting and deploying AWS cloud solutions
• Experience with managing technical implementation, integration, and configuration projects, including development of project plans and system architectures, and updating compliance documentation
• Knowledge of modern programming languages
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a related field

Compensation for the Solutions Architect:

• Salary: $180,000-215,000/year *flexible depending on experience*
