The Data & Analytics (D&A) Hubteam is part of the Verizon Consumer Groups (VCG) Consumer Experience (CX) organization. As part of D&A Hub team, you will be helping to create and deliver a comprehensive measurement and reporting approach for all of Verizon Consumer Groups. In this role, you will interact with cross functional teams working throughout Verizon bringing new experiences to life for our Customers.
You will help in measurement, reporting for cross-functional teams as they plan, build and launch world-class experiences. You will help translate raw data into actionable insights and better experiences for our customers. Your deep knowledge of measurement solutions will help to determine the best approaches for implementations that best meet business needs.
Extract data points based on requirements while working with Development and Operations Teams to fulfill Optimization test reporting from launch.
Lead the development and implementation of advanced reports and dashboard solutions to support business objectives.
Analyze data and clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.
Understand the KPIs and metrics that helps answer business questions.
Identify target audience and level of aggregation and detail needed in the executive reporting.
Create wireframes and mockup of reporting.
Define, validate, and test tags needed for data capture and reporting.
Work with IT on automation (tagging) and derive new and better ways to capture data.
Document all validated standards and processes to ensure accuracy across the enterprise.
Collaborate in cross-functional teams to source new data, develop schema requirements, and maintain metadata.
What we are looking for:
You are good with numbers and love to dig into data to find the story. Crafting reports and dashboards is a fun afternoon for you. You’re able to translate numbers into compelling stories and tailor your presentation and recommendations to the audience’s function and level to meet their needs. You are detail-oriented and know how to be passionate about what really matters. You have a knack for understanding and visualizing just the right way to share data and practical insights so that people can understand. You enjoy aligning various work streams to ensure the same vision and goal is achieved.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience with Adobe Analytics or related platform (e.g., Google Analytics), or knowledge of tagging implementation and experience in debugging process.
Experience with dashboards creation.
Data visualization skills and hands-on experience using Tableau and/or Qlik with SQL skills.
Knowledge of SQL/ ETL process and reporting tools.
Working knowledge of One Jira or any ticketing tool.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Master’s degree or PhD in Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience developing general reporting, KPIs, metrics, and attributes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to develop and use storytelling to communicate information.
Strong problem solving, analytical, and research capabilities.
Experience managing time-bound project deliverables for multiple stakeholders.
