Job Summary:

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Splunk Engineer to join our team on-site in Huntsville, Alabama. As a Splunk Engineer, you will be leading Splunk engineering efforts. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications will make you an integral part of delivering customer-focused engineering solutions.

Responsibilities of the Splunk Engineer:

•      Lead Splunk engineering efforts to shape our systems.

•      Design, develop, and evolve systems with advanced technology solutions.

•      Translate real-world needs into technical specifications.

•      Broaden skillset into areas like Splunk and system engineering.

•      Create holistic cyber solutions by merging system engineering and Splunk.

•      Deliver customer-focused engineering solutions.

Qualifications of the Splunk Engineer:

•      8+ years of experience on IT programs

•      Bachelor’s degree

•      Experience engaging with client stakeholders

•      Experience with SPL, XML, CSS, or HTML

•      Knowledge of enterprise logging, including application, OS, and security technology logging

•      Knowledge of Splunk dashboards

•      Knowledge of regular expressions and writing search queries

•      Knowledge of creating dashboards for application monitoring

•      All candidates must possess a Top Secret Level Security Clearance

Compensation for the Splunk Engineer:

•      Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000
