At Verizon, we power and empower how people live, work and play by connecting them to what brings them joy. We do what we love — driving innovation, creativity, and impact in the world. What you’ll be doing...

You will be involved as a Macro Modification Real Estate project specialist focused on obtaining and tracking any and all necessary construction related permits for various telecommunication projects associated with cell site modifications including C-Band. As a Sr. Real Estate Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing and enforcing standards and processes, assisting in overseeing team progress on POR and assisting in managing the team budget. This position will be local to the Southern California submarket.

  • Analyzing existing macro cell sites and assess feasibility of potential modification projects for the site.

  • Managing vendors and purchasing during the site acquisition and permitting process.

  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

  • Interfacing with stakeholders like landlords, government employees, community officials and legal counsel.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience such as real estate, municipal engagement or contractual negotiation work.

  • Ability to manage multiple small scale projects to completion.

  • Familiarity with purchase orders and invoicing.

  • Advanced knowledge in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specs and building codes.

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel or Google Sheets with the ability to create and work in multiple project trackers.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree

  • A Real Estate License in the State of California.

  • Familiarity with RF design and cell site equipment.

  • Experience dealing with property management issues and disputes.

If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
