As a Senior Experience Designer II you may be more involved with the onboarding and recruiting experience and mentoring other designers. A Senior Experience Designer is differentiated by skill capabilities and increased contributions to product success.
Participating in identifying appropriate design problems and opportunities within a brief.
Working independently with some mentorship to tackle larger, more open-ended problems.
Generating multiple credible design solutions with minimal guidance.
Participating in divergent and convergent group work while exhibiting proficiency of shared tools and software for design.
Actively exploring user context, and engaging the target user-centric activities.
Participating in user insight gathering activities and in the analysis of observations to develop insights. Creating design solutions that use user insights.
Articulating user, business, and/or technical reasoning for detailed design decisions in critiques or presentations.
Participating and chipping in to group dialogue and activities. Giving and receiving constructive feedback.
Communicating the current project plan, goals, and expected outcomes.
Deepening interactions with partners in product, tech, and business.
Where you'll be working...
This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.
You're a model design practitioner who grounds user-centered design solutions in product, tech, and business strategies. You excel, model, or instruct at least one of the core disciplines and optimally perform in others. You're accountable for your growth as well as other designers' growth. You are comfortable thinking on your feet and handling complexity. You communicate expertly, concisely and clearly. Other designers look to you as an example. You are accountable for your growth as an individual practitioner and the growth of your peers.
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in UX, digital design skills and prototyping.
Experience in user centric design overall.
Experience in Visual Design and UI animation.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design.
Portfolio of all professional work.
Contributed to multiple design programs or shipped products with a large user base.
Contributed to overall product success.
