Job Description Summary:

What you need to know about the role:

-Maximize business impact and individual growth through deployment of talent; maintain a deep knowledge of executive key talent strengths / capabilities.

-Implement a robust and focused talent review process to ensure a planful approach to development of key talent.

-Accelerate adoption of consistent standards for identifying and growing high potential talent

-Facilitate robust succession and development action planning, particularly for critical roles and high potential succession candidates.

-Leverage talent analytics to derive insights on workforce risks and needs, especially among critical roles and executive leadership pipelines.

-Understand and recommend resources and tools to deliver best practices for career and development planning, assessment, coaching, sponsorship.

-Identify and closely monitor critical roles within the organization, assessing skills required now and in the future.

Job Description:

  • Able to quickly process complex information, identify interdependencies and make complex decisions. 

  • Operates as a strong partner and liaison between the business/aligned People Business Partner(s) and other members of Centers of Excellence (COE) who orchestrate the delivery of services. 

  • Bring an “outside in” perspective, sharing market best practices and innovative talent recommendations 

Your day to day 

  • Translates broad, longer-term vision and objectives into specific milestones and goals to deliver key talent initiatives for the business. 

  • Lead change management and project management efforts for succession and talent review, with specific focus on excellent go to market strategies and materials 

  • Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking with a metrics-driven approach to talent health and the ability to leverage analytics and insights to create compelling narratives for change and to gain sponsorship 

  • Root-cause and synthesize issues and problem statements, match talent strategies to business strategies and deliver a global succession planning program that drives results 

  • Be a team-oriented builder who understands how to achieve buy-in from diverse constituencies, building bridges and designing “win-win” solutions across a matrixed organization 

  • Acts as a trusted and credible partner who anticipates needs and proactively recommends solutions. 

  • Leverages employee listening system and other data insights to make talent recommendations that drive culture and engagement and improves organizational performance. 

  • Fosters a climate of inclusion where diverse thoughts are freely shared and integrated to plans and solutions that are best suited to the circumstances. 

  • Leads communication and change efforts for assigned domains. 

What do you need to bring: 

  • 5-7 years of formal succession planning and assessment experience in a defined COE 

  • Deep domain expertise in areas of executive talent assessment, development, high potential identification and succession planning 

  • Excellent data analysis capability, with particular focus on data-driven insights and actions 

  • Must be able to flourish and navigate in a rapidly changing organization and operate comfortably with ambiguity and complexity 

  • Experience with roles of increasing scope in global, highly matrixed, high growth organization. 

  • Track record of success in a results-oriented HR role with senior-level interface and influence. 

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex situations into a digestible, actionable format for the business leaders and their teams  

  • Be a team-oriented builder who understands how to achieve buy-in from diverse constituencies, building bridges and designing “win-win” solutions across a matrixed organization. 

  • Must be able to flourish and navigate in a rapidly changing organization and operate comfortably with ambiguity and complexity. 

  • Experience talent and performance modules of Workday 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience is required. Advanced degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is a plus.
