Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to support an Intelligence Community program in San Diego, California. You'll help develop C4ISR systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions. Spanning air, land, sea, and space, we are developing the technology of tomorrow, delivered today.

Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid Remote)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a computer related field
• 8+ years of software design, code and test experience
• US Citizenship with an active Top Secret and/or Top Secret/SCI clearance is required
• Strong software architecture, design, and development experience using Java and C++
• Ability to innovate, evaluate and research new technologies while staying abreast of industry trends
• The ability to engage constructively with peers and technical lead to communicate the technical approach, trade-offs, and technical decisions

Additional Desired Skillsets & Experience:

• Experience with Agile software development
• Experience in cloud-based concepts such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of the DevSecOps development process
• Experience with RESTful Micro Services
• Experience with Java Spring Boot Micro Service development
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with Git

Compensation:

• Pay range: $170,000 - $220,000
• Benefits: Cigna medical, dental, vision, 401k, 20 days PTO / 11 Federal Holidays
