Job Summary
Raymond James is currently seeking an Analyst to act as a partner with the business to facilitate and implement technology solutions. Responsible for writing system requirements that will ensure the technology solution will meet the needs of the business. Leverages appropriate technical resources. Requires a high-level understanding of systems, industry, and end-user requirements. Demonstrates subject matter expertise and is able to integrate domain knowledge with an understanding of financial services standards and practices. Is the primary on the most complex or escalated issues and may provide direction and guidance to team members. Applies specialized business knowledge and technical skills to significant deliverables and projects that involve multiple IT departments, and business units and have enterprise impact. Is able to make judgments and recommendations based on the analysis and interpretation of data.

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of

Advanced knowledge of risk management, issue tracking, change management, and requirements gathering.
Working in a team environment or project room to facilitate collaboration.
Client Access to build and develop applications for internal Financial Advisors.

Skill in
Develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.
Application development and business Analysis along with Service mapping and reporting.
Translating technical concepts to a business audience and business information to a technical audience.

Ability to
Identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities compare data from different sources to draw conclusions.
Clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
Use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions recommend or take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences.

Occasionally work a non-standard shift including nights and/or weekends and/or have on-call responsibilities.

Education/Previous Experience
Minimum of a Bachelor%26rsquos degree in Computer Science, MIS or related degree and five (5) years of relevant experience or combination of education, training and experience.
Financial Services experience is highly preferred.
Work Experience in SQL/Oracle databases to perform basic queries.
Good working knowledge in Scrum/agile.
Willing to provide production support occasionally.

Licenses/Certifications
Scrum Master Certification is preferred.

Travel
Travel Required: No Travel required.
