Job Description Summary:

What you need to know about this role-
You will be working with Ruby on Rails doing backend development to support our Vault Pillar applications.
As a member of the Vault Pillar team you will get to help implement new features which enhance Braintree's Vault offering.

Meet our team-
The Account Updater team is responsible for ensuring applications work as expected to maintain Vault freshness across all our Merchants.
The team is comprised of an Engineering Manager(EM), responsible for the planning and implementation schedule for projects, a Tech Lead(TL), who
ensures the technical direction for our applications is maintained and best practices are adhered too, two senior engineers, who help implement/execute
development of new features and support of existing features and a Product Manager(PM) who is familiar with business needs and works with EM and TL to define a roadmap to build those features for customers.

Job Description:

As a member of the Vault Pillar, you will drive the development of innovative features that enhance our product's value and desirability for merchants.
The work you do will directly impact how merchants interact with PayPal and set the direction for future customers and business.
Maintaining Vault freshness is key to improving TPV and ensuring PayPal's success in the market.
You will influence the strategic direction of our technical solutions, ensuring scalability and performance.
You will mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Your day to day role-
Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Ruby on Rails applications.
Review teams Pull Requests(PR)'s for accuracy and stability and adheres to RoR best practices.
Attend Scrum ceremony calls to ensure deliverables are meant or blockers are called out early to ensure project success.
Attend pairing sessions with other developers on the team for collaboration and education.
Oversee the stability and performance of existing applications, providing support as needed.
Participate in code reviews and critiques.
Participate and/or drive team discussions on technical strategy, system architecture, and engineering design to meet various functional and non functional requirements.

$84500 to $204600
