General Summary:

Designs and develops software across the stack for web applications and engineering tools that include programming at the data layer, integration layer, API layer, and the UI layer. Develops systems, integrations, APIs and solutions that are focused, but not limited to, engineering. Manages/tracks the software development process from development to production release in collaboration with other IT teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of IT-relevant work experience with Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems).
OR
7+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

• 4+ years of work experience with Full-stack Application Development (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
• 3+ years of work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years of prior experience in Data Engineering and Databases
  • 5+ years of Python programming experience
  • Experience with ETL framework like Airflow, Dagster
  • Experience with Apache Spark (PySpark), Apache Beam, relevant Big Data processing Frameworks
  • Experience with system integration and real-time data pipelines using Kafka, Red Panda
  • 4+ years of experience developing with GCP (BigQuery, PubSub, DataProc)
  • Experience in advanced SQL using MPP databases like Clickhouse and administration is a plus.
  • Experience creating data catalog for Data Lakes
  • Proven track record of coding in a multi-developer environment – code collaboration, reviews, etc.
  • Exposure to other programming languages like Rust, C++ are a plus.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, code and maintain systems to support the Analytics Infrastructure & Data Lake.
  • Partner/Contribute on analytics requests and do statistical data analysis as needed.
  • Development and operations of data pipeline and associated processes.
  • Research and develop efficient, scalable, resilient, self-healing and reusable data engineering solutions.
  • Design data recovery, reconciliation, and data life-cycle management processes.
  • Collaborate with global team on projects and operations
  • Participate in performance tuning efforts at code and infrastructure level.
  • Building data quality as a process within the pipelines.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$128,100.00 - $192,100.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
