At the heart of the Snapdragon Studios, we are passionate about next generation gaming technologies and delivering exceptional gaming experiences across all platforms. Our highly creative teams are full of veteran AAA game developers, game artists, game engine experts and graphics enthusiasts who work on our latest GPUs and Gaming hardware innovations around Mobile and PC.
This is an exciting multi-functional gaming role with many unique opportunities to help lead our game studio relationships with the top game studios and publishers in China. This person would be tightly integrated into our game studio with a strong focus on local China gaming partnerships and partner marketing. You will work closely with product, marketing, engineering, and legal teams to deliver results. This position would also help drive publishers’ technical engagements to help us increase our scope and reach into more AAA game studios including outreach and defining partnership structures. The candidate will need to have a strong understanding of the gaming industry, gaming ecosystems, and game business models.
Responsibilities
Own game partnership strategy and relationship management with the leading game developers in China.
Identify, negotiate, and close strategic game partnership deals
Be able to learn and adapt a wide range of products and technologies
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and influence senior leadership
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience in partner marketing, business development, strategic partnership, developer relations experience in mobile or PC industry
7+ years of experience in the games industry leading partnerships with game developers.
Good technical knowledge of Mobile/PC Gaming.
Experience leading negotiation, identifying partners, and structuring agreements.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Must speak conversational English/Fluent in Chinese Language.
Preferred Qualifications
Currently in a strategic business development role in the gaming industry with a focus on Mobile or PC
Experience with China game publishers and industry developer relations
Experience in game publishing in several markets for PC and Mobile (with focus on China)
Involved insShipping at least one mobile, console, PC, or XR game
Experience with core game development and game engines
Comfortable working with large, complex projects and deliverables
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong social team fit, self-motivated
MS, or PhD degree in an engineering or computer science related field
Bilingual a plus (Mandarin/English)
