Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Storage Consultant – TS/SCI Clearance for a federal customer located in Suitland, MD.  The Storage Consultant – TS/SCI Clearance will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing storage solutions with a focus on NetApp technologies. The Storage Consultant – TS/SCI Clearance will be working onsite 5 days a week working closely with clients to understand their storage needs and provide expert guidance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities for the Storage Consultant – TS/SCI Clearance include:

• Design and Implementation: Develop and implement storage solutions using NetApp technologies, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry best practices.
• Performance Tuning and Optimization: Monitor and optimize storage performance to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert troubleshooting and support for storage systems, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their storage needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for storage configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to junior team members and clients on NetApp technologies and storage best practices.

Qualifications for the Storage Consultant – TS/SCI Clearance include:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• 5+ years of experience with NetApp storage solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Skills in the following areas:
  • Proficiency in NetApp ONTAP, SAN, and NAS technologies.
  • Strong understanding of storage architecture and design principles.
  • Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Highly preferred
  • certifications in NetApp technologies (e.g., NCDA, NCIE).

Compensation for the Storage Consultant – TS/SCI Clearance include:

•       $170,000 - $185,000 annually

•       FTE position, Full Comprehensive benefits package
