Job Description

Workforce Intelligence (WFI) is a new branch of Workforce Optimization within Contact Center Operations (CCO).  WFI is a highly skilled cross-functional team that has a passion for creating effective analytic solutions and driving business decisions with the use of machine learning models and data insights while easing the workload of teams through the development of applications and automated solutions.  As a team, we are responsible for the data management lifecycle, providing reliable workforce insights, creation and management of new analytic capabilities, and development of innovative automated solutions to everyday problems. The Summer Associate with work alongside the resident Application developer to develop automation solutions and front-end web user interfaces for the Workforce Optimization teams.

Potential Project:

  • Develop applications that align with business needs or enhance existing workflows
  • Design solutions that streamline data collection and /or metric building
  • Design back-end solutions in SQL to connect with front-end application system

     

The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2025 and ending in August 2025. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2025 or later.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience in Visual Studios, C#, and HTML
  • Familiarity with CSS, JavaScript, and Python
  • Basic understanding of JSON, CSS, SQL, SQLServer
  • Experience creating web applications that interact with relational databases
  • Effective communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities
  • Identify business requirements (e.g. needs, objectives, features, input, and output) and translate them into delivered technical solutions
  • Analyze, define, and document technical designs for data, workflows, or logical processes
  • Work directly with project leads to understand requirements and propose key automated solutions to streamline workflows
  • Ensure application data collection is designed and consistent with standards maintained within the business unit
  • Collaborate with business units and senior management to conduct needs assessment to support business unit objectives 
  • Translate mechanical workflows into technical programmed solutions with planned scalability for process improvement
