All Summer Associates positions on the Finance team will be provided the opportunity to learn how the finance and accounting fields play a critical role to our members. Summer Associates will be provided an opportunity to develop business knowledge, technical skills, and exercise creative problem-solving. Additionally, candidates will receive targeted training and mentoring as well as receiving guidance from management.

The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2025 and ending in August 2025. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2025 or later.

Qualifications
  • Course work in Finance, Accounting and Economics, but not required to be concentrated in these fields
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with research, analysis, and data manipulation
  • Strong communication and presentation-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Responsibilities
  • Analysis of business portfolio performance using data manipulation and visualization techniques
  • Support forecast model improvements through the analysis of key business trends
  • Develop financial forecasts and analyze key performance metrics to provide meaningful insight into business trends, risk and regulatory environments, technology modernization, and financial performance
  • Consolidate business segment performance and financial reporting
  • Provide support to assigned department, may work on small projects or portions of larger projects
  • Develop skills in the creation, execution, and prioritization of system modernization and risk tasks to support the evaluation of the operational performance of existing controls and devise remediation strategies that align control performance with the appropriate risk mitigation methodology
  • Assist and collaborate with various levels of staff to accomplish tasks/assignments
  • Perform other duties as assigned
